Issues

Is that ".MOV"
getting in your way?

Phone videos are MOV / HEVC (H.265) — efficient and high quality, but picky about where they play.

  • Won't play on your PC
    or in your apps

Videos imported from an iPhone are ".MOV" files that simply won't play — and your editor or upload site won't take them either.

  • They told you
    it wouldn't open

The video you sent to family or a client won't open on their machine — and older TVs and car systems are worse still.

  • HDR footage looks
    pale and washed out

It looks great on the phone, but pale and colorless everywhere else. HDR is rarely the first thing you suspect.

Solution

Drop it in, press convert.
Designed to end there.

No codecs or bitrates to configure. Pick what it is for, and you get an MP4 that plays anywhere.

  • Point 01

MOV / HEVC into MP4 that plays anywhere

Drop the files in and press convert. You get an MP4 (H.264 video / AAC audio) that plays on virtually every PC, phone, TV and app.

    • No complicated settings at all
    • Audio carried over as AAC, never re-encoded
    • Portrait videos stay upright
  • Point 02

    Washed-out HDR corrected automatically

HDR (HLG) footage turns pale when converted as-is. Colors are corrected during conversion, and you can see the result in the preview before you commit.

    • HLG colors corrected automatically
    • Preview the output colors on the spot
    • Nothing to check after converting
  • Point 03

No uploads. Everything stays on your PC

All conversion happens locally and your videos are never sent anywhere — not your family footage, not your client's material.

    • Videos never leave your PC
    • Works without an internet connection
    • Full quality and no watermark, even free

Just two things to choose from

  • Keep quality

Convert to MP4 without changing the resolution. Pick this one if unsure (recommended).

  • Compatibility first (up to Full HD)

Downscale 4K to 1920×1080 — for older devices, or smaller files to send.

How to Use

Just 3 steps

No complicated setup — start converting right away.

  1. 01

Add videos via drag & drop

Drop .mov / .mp4 / .m4v files into the window and they appear in the list. Adding several at once works too.

  2. 02

    Choose what it is for

Pick "Keep quality" or "Compatibility first (up to Full HD)." The output colors are shown in the preview.

  3. 03

    Convert and save

Choose a destination folder and hit convert. One at a time is free; converting them all at once is unlocked with Pro.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Are my videos uploaded to a server?

No. All conversion happens locally on your PC. Your videos are never sent to or stored on the cloud or our servers.

How much can I do for free?

You can convert one video at a time, the first 30 seconds of each — at full quality and with no watermark. The Pro in-app purchase (one-time) removes the length limit and lets you convert several videos at once.

Does the quality drop?

"Keep quality" converts without changing the resolution. Audio is carried over as AAC without re-encoding, so nothing is lost there either.

What happens to HDR footage?

HLG-based HDR is corrected automatically so it does not look pale once it is an MP4, and you can check the result in the preview before converting. PQ-based HDR such as Dolby Vision is not supported.

It says I need "HEVC Video Extensions"

Reading HEVC (H.265) video may require Microsoft's "HEVC Video Extensions" for Windows. When the app detects such a file, it walks you through installing them.

Which versions of Windows are supported?

Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit).
