Issues

Does any of this
sound familiar?

It's natural to panic when this happens. But don't give up just yet.

  • Accidentally deleted
    important photos or videos

You deleted photos or videos from a trip or event by mistake. You only noticed after removing the SD card, and now you're at a loss.

  • Accidentally formatted
    your SD card

You accidentally clicked OK on "Do you want to format?" All data seems gone — but there's still hope.

  • SD card data
    suddenly disappeared

You're seeing "File not found" or "This drive needs to be formatted" — data that should be there is no longer accessible.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the SD card detected automatically?

Yes. When you launch the app, connected SD cards and removable drives are listed automatically. SD cards connected via a card reader work directly.

What file formats are supported?

JPEG, MP4, MOV, HEIC, AVIF, and some major RAW formats including CR2, CR3, ARW, NEF, and ORF. We cannot claim full support for all RAW formats — please check the supported formats list for details. More formats are being added.

Is recovery guaranteed?

Recovery is not guaranteed. Files that haven't been overwritten have a higher chance of being recovered. Since scanning and previewing is free, you can confirm whether your files are found before purchasing.

Which versions of Windows are supported?

Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit).

How do I purchase from Microsoft Store?

Install the app from Microsoft Store, scan your SD card, then press the restore button to proceed to the purchase screen. You can complete the purchase and recovery entirely within the app.
